Two trades today… one winner and one loser. I sat out the last couple hours of trading because my stocks were acting funny (in my opinion). I assume it’s because of the sudden strong day today, and the upcoming earnings from AMGN, a big player in the sector I’m following.
It’s neat to see that, in both my stocks (AMGN and GILD), there was nervous selling right into the 2PM FOMC minutes, and then a huge(ish) spike right at 2 when people liked the report.
Anyway, here is the winner (kind of a second-rate winner since I got out with only 1/10th of the possible profits from the trade!):
