Masterful AKAM play… but not by me…

If you want to see how I only wish I had played Akamai (Nasdaq: AKAM) today, check out today’s post at Wall St. Warrior. My goodness… it puts my little AKAM scalp to shame. I was only playing the break of 42, while it appears this trader played the run up to 42 as well. I’ve often wondered if I should try to do that, as it seems the price naturally runs right up to resistance, whether it breaks or not.

Anyway I’ve seen Wall St. Warrior in people’s blogrolls, but I haven’t had a chance to check out the blog yet. It’s got my attention, now, though! I’ll be reading through it as time allows this week, and seeing what it’s like. I saw the article I linked above while vanity searching, of all things (we’re both linked from google finance’s page for AKAM today, due to our blog posts).

    Hey Richard,

I discovered your blog through the stock tickr interview. I’ve been meaning to add it to my blog roll for some time now and finally got around to doing that today. I’ve been passing through each week checking out your weekly list top stocks to day trade as well as your stock charts. Anyway, thanks for the plug. BTW, AKAM has been a big winner for me. I’ve been trading it regularly since they reported their last QTR earnings and if this latest breakout holds, I expect we’ll get many more good trades from it. Good trading!

If there is a standard for traders to work towards or look up to, it is Jamie. He pulls several points a day out of the market on a reg. basis and makes it look easy.

I agree. I have the utmost respect for a trader who can comfortably trade a stock long and short in the same day. That’s just taking it to a whole new level, IMO. Jamie does that day in and day out.

Based on these two reviews, I think I’m gonna like Jamie’s blog… :-) There’s so many out there, it’s hard for me to sample them all. Sounds like this one is a winner.
