Discrimination

This week I have been corresponding with the DT trying to get into the VO. Initially, I accepted the fact that I wouldn’t be allowed to participate. At the time I didn’t think too much about it.

However, after reading this comment he made on my previous post, I felt there was more to it. They already had a “token” futures trader. I feel strongly that the constitution of this great U.S. has promised futures traders life, liberty, and the pursuit of losing money at an alarming rate.

With that in mind, I had a not so pleasant conversation with the DT after dinner. He said that he really likes futures traders. In fact some of his “best” friends are futures traders. As he was proclaiming how liberal minded he was, he told me that he liked commodity traders, but he wouldn’t want his daughter to date one. I feel like we are back in the 90’s.

Some people maintain that rap music has done more to bring the races together than anything else in the last 100 years. Maybe they can do something to bring stock and futures traders together. After all we’re in a new millenium.

This conversation is starting to make me nervous.

Listen, since you guys have a veritable “brain trust” over here on this site, why don’t you start a nice little futures VO? That way Bass Ackwards won’t feel left out. Each day at my slightly more exclusive VO I’ll link over to your piece of crap VO, allowing my readers to “slum it” over here. And I’ll deign to allow you to link to my “country club” VO.
