This will be my last post for awhile. I’m going into simulation mode to see if the system I currently use produces a positive expectancy under ideal circumstances. If not then I will look elsewhere. I made 5 trades today, and only one fit my criteria, and I exited it too early.

Good luck BAT, I may be joining you in sim mode soon.

Sorry to hear that. Remember that as long as you are taking impulse/non-system trades, you are really measuring your performance, rather than your system’s performance.

tyro: thanks…hopefully, things pick up for you
richard: exactly…it seems that when i have a bad run, i get more selective, and can stick to the system…once i start trading well, i don’t…now what i can’t tell from this is whether or not, its the system producing results or if it is random luck which is also possible…the bad part about my own performance is that it really delays everything else…i still don’t know if the system is profitable or not…i thought trading was supposed to be easy, and i would be rich by now :-)
