Why is the music so old? Cause I’m old!

You probably know this, but I think your voice should be a little louder in the mix. I’m still looking at the elder force index, trying to see if it will be useful to me. The jury’s still deciding on that one. Does that trend detection index do better/different than an ADX?
If you start upstaging me with live trades, I think people will like that. I may have to see if my old laptop can record a few of mine as well, and still keep up with daytime data.

yeah, i noticed that too, but didn’t want to take the time to redo it…i think the TDI is just different…i’m sure the custom indicator to be set to catch an upward slope of the ADX, but i haven’t tried it…even the author of the book i’m reading, doesn’t anoint one over the other…they both catch some, and miss some
as far as the live trading goes, i’m faced with three problems…being quick enough to start the video at the right time, the 10′ youtube limit, and the extra pressure…i do think it would be interesting…after watching the people at eotpro, i’m amazed at how calm they remain…my videos will be much more dramatic :-)
and the dramatic effects aren’t a good thing…i can just imagine what i sound like as i’m close to getting stopped out, or questioning when to get out…even paper trading with these indicators i’ve been experimenting with, i find myself still wanting to get out early - before an exit signal
they haven’t fixed the bug with the EFI indicator, but hopefully, they will soon…i think the VWAP should take the volume into account, so that very well may be a good substitute, if i understand it correctly

did you go to the open house, or are you talking about some of their older live trade videos? I think the example they set by remaining calm and usually finishing the day green after some losses is great. Just seeing that it can be done is important for people, even if they don’t know how to get there yet.
When I try the video thing, I plan to start recording and do an intro, then pause until I’m about to get in. If I end up not taking the trade I will start over. If I do take the trade, I would pause the film every time price was congested. If I miss an interesting moment as a result, that’s too bad. Really, though, my trades usually only last 1 to 3 minutes.

Your voice has a strange womanly quality to it.
I like these vids you guys post. Good stuff from my favorite trekkie/emo/pervert clan.

dt: my voice is anything but womanly…someone told me u had a man crush on me, and i didn’t want to believe it
i figured u would bag on the southern accent, but u surprised me by taking the “womanly” angle
