Only Tradestation was happy with my performance today… lots of trades for very little profit. But, the markets had volume and good moves, so hopefully that will continue.
On the bright side, I did start trading ER2 today a little, for 2 wins. I’m trying to figure out whether I want to start paying $50/month to keep my YM feed, or just stick to the CME products (I guess I’m also curious about whether YM will show up as part of the globex feed I have later this month).

Richard,
Excellent analogy about taking products and scratching the itch during meditation.
Also, it’s true that even if you fail as a trader, you can drink yourself into oblivion.

Richard,
After taking a hard look at Ninja Trader I decided to give up on it and move to NeoTicker. Sometimes companies need to realize that Trader need to design the app and not some some computer geek who has never traded before. NT is a much better and more refined product, however, it will not give you the warm and fuzzies that TS gives but it doesn’t have most of the multi-timeframe and scanning issues you face with TS either. Pretty cool product, take a look at it when you get a chance.

DT, I actually plan to drink myself into oblivion either way. It’s just a matter of whether I’m buying the drinks, or knocking over the liquor store.
Hi LP, I do have ninja trader, and actually am about to do some serious development on it for the eotpro folks. I have never played with NeoTicker though. Let me know what you think of it once you have some experience.

Well the good thing is that both Ninja and Neo program in C# so your code can be transferable. Atleat more than TS anyway. I really do like the program a whole lot. You can do much more in Neo than TS and Ninja. I guess Ninja was geared more towards Futures traders. No is quite possibly the most open platform out there. Very few limitations. Try downloading their demo sometime and trying it out for yourself. Unfortunately the demo only allows you to open 2 windows at a time and it hardly give you the opp to really test drive it.
