Nice post.
Great to see you back on track recently. I admire the videos and charts you guys posted here with indicators and colorful lines. Beautiful.

We have one thing in common. I quit reading trading blogs. Well,ok, I still read Eyal and Maoxian.

Have a good one.

michael: yes, its an intel mac...i'm not spending $144/month for company...if that's what u want, then u might be a customer of one of my ho's..seriously, i've been wanting to make the switch over to a mac for quite a while, but the one thing holding me back was a charting platform...at the same time i made the switch, all of the new pc's had vista on them...from what i here, that's a nightmare...so i figured, i might as well make the plunge, since i would probably be forced to do a lot of work one way or another...anyway, that turned out to be the best thing in many respects

i don't knock the live room, but personally, if i was a member, i wouldn't participate...i found wallstreak very distracting, but that has more to do with my personality flaws than anyone in the eotpro room

btw, CONGRATS on the 1k on your first trade!

MWF, the Intel Macs run Windows just fine so unless you bought something old that really isn't an excuse. New low-end PC's are about $400 so if you can't afford that then it's time to put the smack-down on your ho's. They ain't workin'.

I made $1k on Friday on my first real-money futures trade. The cost of a PC really shouldn't be a factor. If you qualify for trader tax status then you can even write it off on your taxes.

The coolest thing about EOT Pro isn't even the indicators, imo. The live room that the offer really rocks...I enjoy spending my days there and listening to the various gurus talk. It's an education (and good company throughout the day) that you really cannot beat for the $144 every two months.

I'll subscribe to the live room even if I decide to use another system. Really.

michael: if i hadn't switched to a mac, i would be at eotpro...they need to get on that! honestly, that's why its best to paper trade until u find something that works and fits u like a glove...however, most of us weren't that smart...eotpro is worth the money, and i wish the service i subscribed to (nameless of course) would have actually been worth anything

zbs: i'm sorry to hear that...u consistently put up big numbers, and i have no answer for u...however, i suspect that anyone who traded on that level for so long, must know a thing or two...i'm sure u will find what you're looking for

Mr. White Folks,

Your experience is my guidance. I changed to dummy setup for the clear defined stop. My old strategy can gain $1k, $2k a day, but in last 2 months I managed to lose ~$50k for several big down days. With this kind of draw down I cannot sustain as a trader as more. I am still testing dummy setup to see if I can get along with it.

Wish your trading success continue to last.

Great post and I totally agree. I'm trying EOT Pro and 'Tick Trader' on for size right now. I find something unsatisfying about trading for 2 ticks at a time. I know that theoretically it wound certainly be profitable at 10+ contracts but there's something "not fun" about it for me.

I now find myself look at 300 tick charts and one point moves. I wouldn't feel guilty about taking one ES point. I think that finding your preferred time frame is a really important step...I'm paper trading and trying to figure that out.
