I almost left this comment on someone’s blog, but I decided to do it here instead. Keeping with the motto of Kicking People While They’re Down Since 2006, here it is:
Day trading is not an art, its a business! If you want to be an artist, take up finger painting.

Could you delete the word “day” and just make it “Trading” … ?
“Starving artist” and “struggling artist” are cliché for a REASON.

Very clever, I must say but like tough life to some maybe an excuse for crimes.. trading to some is just an art while others take it as a business. To each thier own.. to some it maybe a hobby and to some a mean of survival. They respect your way of dealing and you should respect thiers.

I’ve quoted Seykota before, here I go again: “Everybody gets what they want from the market. Some people want to lose, and so they win by losing money.” If they’re into trading as a “hobby” and they get a great deal of emotional enjoyment from the game or “art,” then they probably don’t mind losing the money.
Personally, I prefer less expensive enjoyments, and I trade to make money. Your mileage may vary.

anything goes: believe it or not, that wasn’t directed towards you…it was actually directed to someone who is pissing away a ton of money trying to perfect their art…i’m thinking that maybe they need to think of trading a dfferent way while they still have a canvas to paint on
bill: very true!
