The Beard has a subtle message for the banks:

The amazing Michael Shedlock over at Mish’s Global Economic Analysis recently posted an article about leveraged buyouts and the effect of the current credit situation. Among many insights, he quotes an article from Financial Times that says:
Ironically, the Federal Reserve’s dramatic 1.25 percentage point cut in interest rates in January contributed to Harrah’s problem, because loans are floating rate and with benchmarks such as Libor dropping, returns to investors fall proportionately.
It seems that Bernanke agrees with the Fly’s sentiments. The Fed is clearly trying to save the economy from recession, and hang everyone else. The banks are getting no free ride here.

Hello.. in an unrelated matter i’ve been using that ninja trader platform that you guys suggested, and
its pretty awsome im able to make simulated trades and check the results and im able to play around with
some indicators it has on it, i seem to be doin alright with simulated data, but i was wondering if
anyone knows how i can get a TS (tradestation) data feed, and if possible if i can get this for free
or maybe if i can get any kind of data feed that will show REAL market data, i want to test what i’ve learned
under real market conditions cuzz so far… im winning with simulation data but in some cases i find that
simulated data is somewhat predictable… perhaps even easier to trade than real data.. im able to scalp
a point here and there about 70% of the time anyway real market data is something i wanna take a crack at.

Hi again, I tried downloading ninjatrader 6.5, but it says i need to download
.NET FRAMEWORK , does anyone know that this is? or why i need it? I’m less computer savy than i am trading savy
or in other words im retarded with comps, but im always careful before recklessly downloading anything, so i would appreciate any info on this .NET FRAMEWORK crap, and also there is something called DotNet 2.0 and i dunno whats upwith that ither… well later
