I just found out about this blog, and of course, it’s been taken down. This chick is blogging about her last 90 days on earth. After that, she will (if its not a hoax) commit suicide.

I read a bit of the blog. It started:
I mean, as an atheist I feel life has no greater purpose. My generation has had no great depression, no great war and our biggest obstacle is beating Halo 3. So, if I feel like saying “game over”, why can’t I?
I don’t want to be overly cynical, but the whole blog just reeked of “setup”. You can’t live that kind of stupid, you can only be taught it.
My bet was that, over the next 90 days, she would slowly discover God and then her life would finally have a “purpose” (placating his monstrous ego, we can assume) and hallelujah, the suicide would be called off. The nihilism of atheism has been triumphantly overcome by the bliss of Christianity, finally there is a reason to live.
Yeah right.
Either that, or she’s just an all-around idiotic art student who can’t imagine why anyone would kill themselves so is just making up some shit. “Atheism, yeah, that sounds good, let’s go with that.”
Anyway, no need to shed a tear over this idiotic girl. Her site is live at http://90-day-jane.blogspot.com/, and she’s brought it to and end, saying it was just to see our reactions. Paint me shocked.
