The markets were a bit whippy after the bailout vote, so I went into a sim account and made a video of three scalp trades with my newest real-time indicator. I’m scalping the ES S&P 500 e-mini futures, of course. Enjoy!
Sorry the audio got so choppy… I was running 3 platforms, a web browser, and the recording software on my old, struggling laptop… and it was a high-volume day, so…
So I made $212 sim dollars in this video. The video was made at about 13:47 central time. After I uploaded it to youtube, I traded for just under one and a half more hours. Here is my closing matrix balance, using 1 contract:
I think this indicator combo works pretty well, so far…

Hi Richard,
Very impressive performance indeed!
I really don’t know what to ask at this point. Because, I don’t neccesarily care HOW it works, as long as it WORKS (of course I’m plenty curious though).
But here’s a few releases relate questions:
When will it be available to EOT members? Do you anticipate just releasing the indicator? Or also the accompanying function?
Ideally you will be providing the entry signal that simulates how you are entering trades too? (Though building one myself, when provided the pieces doesn’t seems like I would be that difficult either).
Can’t wait to get my hands on this indicator/signal as well as your other new entry signals (both regular and adaptive). Please roll them out as soon as you’ve done sufficient testing.
Hopefully, the Scalping indicator runs on Functions in the October Elite release.
BTW, I’ll GLADLY help with any testing (on the house:).
Keep up the great work, Rich F
Nice pull-back indicator. My Christmas list is getting bigger and bigger.
Hi Rich, I’m glad you’re enthusiastic. Everything I end up using will get to the forums eventually, or maybe the main package. There is no schedule for it.
There is a bit of finesse to the entries that I’m not capturing very well as an entry dot as of yet. It may be that just watching the two histograms is the best that can be done. Anyway, it’s hard to try out various scenarios, because you can only watch these things in real time.
We also need to see what performance is like on a more normal day, before we get too excited. And, I want to try a couple variations on the way things are calculated, and compare them. Relax and enjoy the journey! Trading is not a race to some finish line.
Hi Richard -
great stuff, as usual; thx for sharing it with your readers.
as you port your stuff to different charting platforms, any chance you’ll be adding Sierra Charts to your list?
take care and have a great weekend -
Derek
My, my! I really like what you have done with the place!
:)
btw, if you get a chance, I have a HTML question. Could you email me when you get a free second? I would appreciate it!
You guru you.

Well said.
Hi Richard,
Thanks for the words of wisdom.
Just trying to rev it up to 70MPH, so I can start enjoying the ride:)

I’ve put the entry signal on the forms now, btw.
Hi Richard,
Can you program this for FIBONACCI TRADER.
Thanks for reply in advance.
eotpro has no plans at this time to port their indicators to Fibonacci Trader, but who knows? Maybe in the future.
