Had to be 2 parts today, because I talked for 11 minutes. Damn I hate that 10 minute limit on youtube videos. I need a utility that speeds up the video, so that it sounds like a market-savvy chipmunk is doling out advice. At least it would fit in one video, that way.

Anyway, 4 trades today for 4 wins. I am the king of trading (except I only took small profits today… but I have an excuse!)

I am slowly convincing myself that the eotpro indicators can be gainfully applied to stocks. Having multiple time-frames agree, and double-checking that their EOT-TA seems to be in-synch with the action are both a must, but everything seems to go smoothly once you have that. I am hopeful that the indicators will help me hold out for larger gains when the situation calls for it. So many indicators are geared towards helping you choose an entry… it’s very cool to have a couple indicators that can help you pinpoint an exit. Dynamically-adjusted fibonacci lines are very cool things to have on your charts.

I finally posted my review of An American Hedge Fund late last night. If you watch all my videos, you know I read it months ago in pre-release form. It’s available to purchase now, so check it out.

I’ve done way too many interesting things to fit into a 10 minute video… it’s a shame that I’m too lazy to write about it all, and youtube won’t let me talk about it all. The upside is, you don’t have to listen to it all, so that’s a plus for you, anyway. I need to learn how to be more concise.

I had to chop off the very end of this video to make it fit… that last trade on AXCM was for 8 cents of profit, from 15.98 to 15.90. It wasn’t really going anywhere, so I bailed.

So, now on my radar screen I have Signal-to-Noise, eotpro’s GVol_Osc, and an adaptive bollinger band-width+%b that I coded up. With the bandwidth, it’s easy to spot consolidating stocks without going to the charts. Very cool.

Additionally, I’ve started going through Jamie’s watchlist stocks, and my weekly scan stocks based on 60-minute charts at night. I use the same combination of eotpro indicators and my own indicators on these, to look for imminent moves. Today’s list was spot on (except for NVDA which I thought might be about to fall), though it proved very difficult to find a very tight day-trading style entry. I’ll see how it goes for the next few days.

I’ve got more social obligations than normal this week, so no written commentary. Just watch the video and be happy with that…

… and stop learning chinese!

Yawn… wake me up after Labor Day! This morning scalp on KBH could have paid off well with a 17 cent gain.. only problem was the 11 cents of slippage on my entry! So, I made 6 cents instead. Not a bad start, but I would have preferred to make at least one more trade to increase my gains.
