Nice and easy, 3 trades for 3 wins in the first hour. Then quit early to head out for a swedish massage.

I was at my desk the full day today, unlike most Thursdays. Tomorrow I will be gone for most of the session, though.
Not a bad day, though I got chopped up and gave up a lot of my early profits. Had a strong close for the day, though. I think I will keep my hair for now :-)

I mostly forgot to trade today, because I was playing with all my custom charts. oops! I did get two trades off, for two wins, anyway. Most of this video is about the renko chart view of the day, which is pretty nice.

Quitting early today… markets will probably move like crazy now that I’m gone… but whatever.
Anyway, last two days I’m undefeated, though the wins were small. I think I have adjusted now to the choppy recent action. Probably just in time for it to switch on me again :-)

So, we opened right out of the gate with the richard-kryptonite action…. do you think I made any trades yet? nope! But I really really wanted to, a couple times. That’s probably the worst part of the broadening formation… it lures you in!
The PnF charts make it glaringly obvious, don’t they? I like a chart that makes ugly action look ugly.

Wow, this afternoon was complete deja vu after yesterday.
I’ll be going over today’s action this weekend, trying to see what kinds of plays I might have wanted to make. The eotpro.com folks made some decent money today, after all! As this update video shows, I spent all the time since my morning video waiting for some sort of move to appear. It never did.
I like the perspective that the overview PnF chart gives me, but I do wonder… Does it blind me to the opportunities that I could have taken? Or, did it save me from getting chopped way up? I don’t know yet. Perhaps if I wanted to scalp the turns, which I keep threatening to do, then the overview chart would tell me when it would be appropriate to do so.

Making money, at least, today. I made a brain-dead decision to try a short play a second time, after getting stopped out once. So, two stops in a row cut way into my profits. Oh well. If the second try had worked I’d be writing about how I’m a genius so I guess I can’t complain.

Hopefully Zoomie and Mr. White Folks will post later about the killing they made today. I personally found no viable-looking trades in ES since the morning video… as this update video shows, every pattern I saw today was broadening, which is kryptonite for my otherwise invincible style of trading.

+2.5pts today… so a bit better. Maybe I am adapting some to the recent action. Very very choppy, still, for the most part. In this video, I talk some more about PnF charts (and by association, range bars), and some of the things I like about them. Now that I’ve seen that the main eotpro indicators seem to function on them, I am really liking the idea of using them.
