Not a lot going on in ye olde market so far. I was up 3 points in the first hour, and haven’t traded since. Others noted I seemed bored when I was looking up how many definitions various english words had.

How little action has there been? Here is the renko chart for the day so far (this is THREE hours of market action!):

Yep, that’s it. Note that there would have been 2 trades so far, both winners. You wouldn’t take the first short because it was on an up bar, and GVol_Osc was rising by the time the next down bar occurred.

I really like Renko bars, still. And yet, I’m still too lazy to try to trick Tradestation into refreshing the data in realtime. Go figure.

Lots of new charts and indicators on display today. I ran out of time to actually discuss my trades, but it’s a similar story to the rest of the week. Made money but not too much. 3 wins and 1 loss today.

5 trades for 5 wins, but not as much profit as you might imagine. Oh well, it was another pretty easy day… none of those “oh-my-god-i-will-surely-be-stopped-out” trades that are so nerve-wracking. That Market Sync filter I’m trying out kept me out of the nicer moves today, and frankly after noon I got a little distracted and missed a couple entries that I could have taken.

I still love those Renko charts, they performed amazing again today.

I was at my desk the full day today, unlike most Thursdays. Tomorrow I will be gone for most of the session, though.

Not a bad day, though I got chopped up and gave up a lot of my early profits. Had a strong close for the day, though. I think I will keep my hair for now :-)
